Our Story

How it all started...

In the summer of 2000, as a student at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Nancy Marroquin was asked to evaluate Dripping Springs as the potential site for a new church.
She determined it held promise, and with the funding and support of other area churches and the Presbyterian General Assembly, the final approval was granted for Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church with Nancy as organizing pastor in June 2005. On August 21, 2005, the first weekly service of the Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church was celebrated. There were 79 people in attendance.
Steadily growing while meeting in various locations over the first decade of existence, in 2014 DSPC began to build its current home on Ranch Road 12.  The fist worship services in the new building were celebrated on May 10, 2015 with an overflowing crowd.

Expanding the vision...

In 2019, we expanded our space to offer more gathering opportunities to our friends in Dripping Springs, TX as we Gather, Grow, and Go in Jesus’ name.

Our new worship area doubled our outreach on Sunday mornings, gave us new technology to offer digital services, and serves a multi-purpose ministry space during the week for many groups.

Where we are headed...

God has always been faithful to DSPC and we expect him to continue! We are constantly looking for what God is up to next so that we can see lives changed for the Kingdom.  Our church is committed to following Jesus wherever he calls us; in our city, country, and world.

We live our faith with open hands and willing hearts, because we don't to miss out on the awesome privilege of be partners with Jesus.
