Warrior & Family Group

Open to any combat veterans (male or female) who have PTSD or been deployed to a combat zone and any spouse married to a combat veteran. We are here to help you combat your post-traumatic stress issues stemming from anger, anxiety, avoidance and numbing, etc. Our warrior and family groups will give you the tools necessary to help you build resiliency and fight spiritually while also showing you how to gain post-traumatic growth. We use the books “Combat Trauma Healing Manual” & “When War Comes Home”. Join us at DSPC for dinner at 6:30pm on Mondays, followed by groups from 7-8pm in Room 4 at DSPC. Childcare is provided. Harmony Place

Caregivers Day Out! Harmony Place is a safe, respectable, upbeat program that allows you, the caregiver of loved ones with Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, or other related conditions to have time to rest, do errands, read, have a cup of tea, meet with friends, or just enjoy time for yourself. Activities include chatting, laughing, games, chair exercises, art activities, music, and most of all, loving care. Harmony Place meets every Thursday at DSPC from 10am - 2pm in Room 1.
