Join the Movement
For too long, the church has been known for what it's against. But we know, God is FOR us, so let's be known for what we are FOR. We are FOR DRIP.
Join us as we launch a new movement in our community, a movement that is FOR our community, FOR our families, FOR our neighbors.
We need volunteers. We need YOU! Check out the three big events we're planning for this Fall and sign-up.
At the end of April every year, Dripping Springs celebrates the founding of our great community in 1850. The weekend spring festival kicks off with the Grand Parade followed by live music on two stages. With a carnival, cook-off competitions and arts and crafts vendors, there is something for everyone.
DSPC participates in a big way. We compete in the BBQ cook-off and have a separate booth where throngs of folks can stop by for some refreshments and gab. We usually have a fun attraction for the kids, such as live animals and a photo booth.
We need lots of volunteers to make this happen, from coordination to set-up and tear-down, to manning the booths.
The second Tuesday of every month, DSPC blesses our two nursing homes in the area - Stonebridge and Hill Country Care - by singing and playing music for the residents.
The group is always looking for the following:
Volunteers to interact with the residents (that’s for those of us who can’t sing or play an instrument.
Welcome to Drip Bags
Over the next few years, 10,000 new homes will be built. Let’s welcome our new neighbors the way we would want to be welcomed. If you have a new neighbor move next door, bring them a DSPC Welcome Bag. The bag includes recent news and brochures for Drip, special offers from local businesses, information about DSPC, a blank card for you to write a personal note, and the best part — fresh, baked cookies.
To order a bag, click on the link below and pick up your bag the next Sunday.
If you’d like to volunteer, we’re looking for the following:
