In the summer of 2000, as a student at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Nancy Marroquin was asked to evaluate Dripping Springs as the potential site for a new church. She determined it held promise, and with the funding and support of other area churches and the Presbyterian General Assembly, the final approval was granted for Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church with Nancy as organizing pastor in June 2005. On August 21, 2005, the first weekly service of the Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church was celebrated. There were 79 people in attendance. Steadily growing while meeting in various locations over the first decade of existence, in 2014 DSPC began to build its current home on Ranch Road 12. The fist worship services in the new building were celebrated on May 10, 2015 with an overflowing crowd.
“One of my favorite things about DSPC is that we don’t just pay lip service to our mission, we live it."
