DSPC Teams

Adult Ministry

Elder - Diane Wagner
Staff - Nancy Marroquin
Growing an authentic, heart to heart relationship with God and each other is a core value of DSPC. This team provides opportunities to grow as everyday disciples. The focus of the Adult Ministry Team is to grow and expand spiritual formation opportunities for members in our church and community. We are looking to support our current offerings, see what we would like to repeat and plan new ones.

Mission Statement

The mission of this team is to GO into the world as God’s disciples, serving those in need, sharing His grace, mercy and peace.

Our mission statement is inspired by Micah 6:8 – What does the Lord require of you? To seek justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God.

More About the Mission Ministry Team

Our mission team plays an important role in getting DSPC connected to serve in our community and in the world. Our goal is for DSPC to be known as a place where the needs of our brothers and sisters, both far and near, are well-understood and readily met.

Standard meeting time: After worship on the first Sunday of each month.

Visit the "Hands-On" Ministry page to learn more about current mission programs.

Worship

Elders - Jim Hudson
Staff - Pete Hayes

Mission Statement

As the congregation’s Worship Ministry Team, we are called to enable God’s children to gather and live out the commandment to give glory to God through expressions of joyful praise and worship; to equip God’s children to grow in faith through Word and Sacrament; and to passionately send God’s children to go out into the world as His disciples.

More About the Worship Team

Gathering to worship is central to the life of DSPC. This team helps with the planning, coordinating and enhancement of our Sunday morning worship and special worship opportunities. The music ministry is also conducted through the Worship Team.

Outreach Ministry

Elders - Chris Walling
Staff - Nancy Marroquin
Reaching out to our local community as ambassadors for Christ is important. This team is responsible for connecting and interacting with the larger community through special events and other forms of outreach.
