It’s easy to see how highly children are valued at DSPC. Whether it’s assisting with worship on Sunday morning or serving alongside adults, kids are integral and visible.
At DSPC, we follow the ORANGE Strategy which teaches kids to grow in wisdom, faith and friendship. Why Orange? Because it combines two of the greatest influences in a child’s life: home and church. When combined, these two influences can have a much greater impact than each acting alone.
So at DSPC, we partner with parents to raise children who trust God with their hearts, and follow Christ with their lives. And although we strive to make the time your child spends with us the best hour of his or her week…we know nurturing authentic faith goes way beyond Sunday morning.
Children’s programming is offered for PreK-5th grade at both the 9:30 and 11:00 AM services on Sunday mornings. Nursery care is available for infants and young toddlers.
3rd Grade Bibles
October 12 | 6-7:00PM | God's Big Story Class
October 15 | 9 & 10:30AM | Bibles given to 3rd Graders
An important milestone on any child's faith journey is realizing how God's story comes together in the pages of scripture. At DSPC we think that 3rd grade is the perfect time for children to begin the process of learning how they fit into God's Big Story. So we want to gift every 3rd grader with their own Bible on Sunday, October 15. Bibles will be presented during Children's Time in worship at both 9:00 and 10:30.

Join us to make a joyful noise! DSPC MusicMakers offers children (K-6th) a chance to gather together for fun fellowship, to grow their vocal skills, and to praise God with their voices!
MusicMakers will meet every first Sunday of the month during Clubhouse time at both services. Sing Out Saturday enrichment workshops will be held quarterly. Sunday morning performance opportunities will follow each Sing Out Saturday workshop.
The only requirement is that children bring their smiles and commit to attending the first Sunday of the month as consistently as possible.
